DataQuill BVI Ltd., is a company which holds intellectual property rights relating to the use of information exchange and information download over wireless telecommunications networks. Protocols covered by our technology include WAP, BREW^TM, and JAVA as implemented on mobile telephone devices. Also included are certain mobile devices that combine one or more of these internet capabilities and an integrated digital camera. Originally formed in 1993, our company secured rights in inventive technology, which today has become commonplace on a wide variety of cellular telephones, mobile devices and handhelds. We pursued this technology through worldwide patent protection in several countries, including patent protection in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and China. We have further applications pending in various countries, including the United States based on this technology. (For example see US 2005/0020305.)

We have and continue to successfully license our technology to companies in the wireless telecommunications industry. Our list of approved licensees, who utilize our patented technology include: Palm, Inc., Handspring, Inc., Novatel Wireless, and Glenayre Electronics. The covered products include highly successful devices such as the Palm Treo^TM communicator which has sold over one million units since its release in 2002.
